PATIENT NOTICE:

Due to the unprecedented Coronavirus pandemic, in order to protect our patients & staff, as from Monday 16th March we have moved to a TELEPHONE FIRST TRIAGE SERVICE.

WE REMAIN OPEN TO TREAT MEDICAL PROBLEMS, HOWEVER YOU WILL NOW SPEAK TO THE DOCTOR FIRST. IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO ADEQUATELY MANAGE YOUR PROBLEM BY TELEPHONE THEY WILL ARRANGE AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOU TO COME TO THE SURGERY.

DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, UNLESS A DOCTOR FROM AGHALEE SURGERY HAS ADVISED YOU TO DO SO.

We will continue to treat, manage patients and prescribe medications, but this will be done by telephone.

Your medication will be forwarded to your appointed pharmacy.  If you currently collect your prescription from the surgery, please advise us by telephone which pharmacy you would prefer to collect your prescription from.

If you have questions or concerns, please telephone the Surgery, as we cannot reply via this forum.

For general Coronavirus enquiries call NHS 111.

It is important should you develop symptoms of; Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath, loss of smell that you should arrange to get tested.

Our GPs are also required to provide cover for the Southern Trust Covid Clinics.

Whilst this is essential, it will impact upon our resources within the practice. We would be most grateful for your patience and support whilst we endeavour to maintain a service during the current crisis.

Thank you for your ongoing co-operation.

Best Wishes,
