Home Visits

We are now operating a telephone triage first system rather than booking a home visit directly. Home visits are usually only available to elderly housebound patients.

If you feel you or your relative may need a home visit please phone before 11am to enable the doctors the doctor to contact you early. If you can give as much information as possible about your medical condition, it will allow the doctors to judge the urgency of the call. The doctor will then call back and discuss the problem. It may be that the doctor decides to manage the problem remotely or arrange further investigations prior to a visit.
